Oxidation of SCN− with air and micellar polyoxoperoxometalates

► A new kind of nanocatalysts have been developed by self-assembly. ► The catalysts performed efficiently in oxidation of SCN− into inorganic species. ► The oxidation takes place at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. ► The catalyst can be recovered and reused for five reaction cycles with high activity.
