Atmospheric bulk deposition of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) in the vicinity of an iron and steel making plant

► IRA-743 resin bulk sampler was validated to monitor PCDD/F bulk deposition. ► The data revealed that the steel complex was a major source of PCDD/Fs. ► There is no apparent seasonal change of PCDD/F in the air using PUF-PAS method. ► Seasonal change of PCDD/F deposition is caused by gas-particle partitioning change. ► Winds play an important role in the spatial deposition of PCDD/F bulk deposition.
