Predicting stream N and P concentrations from loads and catchment characteristics at regional scale: A concentration ratio method

► We model nutrient yearly and summer average concentrations in streams at a regional scale. ► We use a concentration ratio approach and Boosted Regression Trees. ► The ratio method lead to better results than common direct approach. ► Concentrations are not directly linked to land uses and hence simple change scenario can be tested.
