Isolation and identification of bacteria from organic foods: Sensitivity to biocides and antibiotics
چکیده انگلیسی
► Most bacterial isolates from organic foods were sensitive to low concentrations of biocides (10-100 mg/l). ► A low percentage of isolates required high biocide concentrations for inhibition (1-10 g/l). ► Highest antibiotic resistance was found for cefuroxime, followed by amoxicillin and erythromycin. ► Several isolates with high MIC's for biocides were resistant to antibiotics. ► These isolates belonged to genera Pantoea, Enterobacter, Bacillus, Enterococcus, Klebsiella and Salmonella.
