Application of hazard analysis - Critical control point (HACCP) principles to primary production: What is feasible and desirable?

► No CCP at the farm level: control of food safety obtained through GHP. ► Different activities in the farm: different GHP guides, each activity specific. ► Where more than one activity, cross contaminations between activities can occur. ► HACCP principle 1 applicable to identifying cross contaminations. ► A complement to guides to GPH is proposed, targeted at cross contaminations.
