Taxoids profiling of suspension Taxus chinensis var. mairei cells in response to shear stress

- An efficient UPLC/Q-TOF MS method was developed to profile taxoids in Taxus cells.
- A total of 21 taxoids was detected in Taxus cells.
- It is the first case study on the effect of shear stress on taxoids metabolism.
- The possible mechanism for shear stress limiting taxol production was proposed.
- This work has important biotechnological applications to increase paclitaxel yields.
