Efficient synthesis of phosphatidylserine in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran

► 2-Methyltetrahydrofuran was successfully applied to phosphatidylserine synthesis. ► Phosphatidylserine yield achieved 90% and the byproduct was not detected at all. ► This reaction system was more promising and efficient than the reported ones.
