- GO is firstly used as a structure-directing and morphology-controlling template.
- Composition, structure and morphology of catalysts are controlled by tuning GO amount.
- 1%G-BMO exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for RhB degradation.
- Plausible formation and photocatalytic mechanisms of catalyst are proposed.
