Highly efficient light-induced hydrogen evolution from a stable Pt/CdS NPs-co-loaded hierarchically porous zeolite beta

Stable CdS and Pt NPs were highly dispersed in mesopore channel of mesoporous Beta by a two-step pore modification process. The novel catalyst shows an excellent catalytic activity and stability for H2 evolution under sunlight irradiation. The mesoporous Beta serving as a rigid framework can also effectively protect CdS from photocorrosion.
