- Inverse opal structural PbO2 anode with high surface area was firstly fabricated.
- Combination of hard template and electro-deposition methods were employed.
- 95% of metalaxyl and TOC removal were achieved after reaction 5 h.
- Detailed intermediates identification and evolution were performed.
- Reasonable catalytic mechanism of metalaxyl on macroporous PbO2 was proposed.
