Regeneration of coked zeolite from PMMA cracking process by ozonation

- ZSM-5 extrudates were successfully decoked by mild temperature ozonation (<150 °C).
- Textural, chemical and acidity properties of zeolites were studied.
- Regeneration was better performed at 95 °C than 140 °C due to diffusion limitation.
- Zeolite acidity and PMMA cracking yields matched with carbon removal results.
- Best regenerated samples showed same (gas + light liquid) yield as fresh catalyst.
