- Photodegradation of the title drugs occurs under photo-Fenton conditions.
- The reaction rate constants with hydroxyl radical have been determined.
- Singlet oxygen was unreactive for the degradation of the selected emerging pollutants.
- Photodegradation in the presence of triphenylpyrylium was observed in all cases.
- Photoinduced electron transfer from the triplet state is the major pathway.
