- Fast decolorization and almost total mineralization of Sunset Yellow FCF by solar photoelectro-Fenton.
- Decreasing oxidation ability for UVA photoelectro-Fenton, electro-Fenton and anodic oxidation.
- Up to 14 aromatic products and 34 hydroxylated derivatives detected by LC-MS.
- Generated tartronic, oxalic, formic and oxamic acids removed by hydroxyl radicals or UV light.
- The viability of solar photoelectro-Fenton demonstrated with a solar pre-pilot plant.
