- We found and characterized novel thermostable bacterial α-CAs.
- The recombinant CAs showed activities better than thermostable CAs from archaea.
- The recombinant CAs were highly thermoactive and thermostable.
- The CA of Thermovibrio ammonificans seems to be the most thermostable CA.
- The recombinant CAs successfully accelerated CO2 sequestration in CaCO3.
