Performance of chromophore-type electrochromic devices employing indium tin oxide nanorod optical amplification

► In this study, we prepare ITO nanorod through electron-beam evaporation. ► The ITO nanorod offers large surface area. ► The nanostructure acts as optical amplifiers to tether more electrochromic materials. ► As a result, the better electrochromic contrast can be achieved.
