Platinum/graphene hybrid film as a counter electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells

► A platinum/graphene film was prepared by using a facile electrochemical deposition method. ► A DSSC based on Pt/GN counter electrode achieved a conversion efficiency of 7.88%. ► The high efficiency is due to the synergistic effect combined platinum with graphene.
