Production of phenolics and aromatics by pyrolysis of miscanthus

► Pt/Meso-MFI was applied for the first time to pyrolysis of miscanthus. ► Higher activity of Meso-MFI was due to its mesoporosity and high acidity. ► The loading of Pt on catalysts promoted the deoxygenation and aromatization.
