Co-pyrolysis of heavy oil and low density polyethylene in the presence of supercritical water: The suppression of coke formation

In the co-pyrolysis of heavy oil and LDPE, the radical species responsible for the condensation in the pyrolysis of heavy oil can be readily saturated by the H-abstraction from the pyrolysis product of LDPE. The presence of SCW guarantees the H-donation with favorable mass transfer environment.
