A study on the electrochemical deposition behavior of uranium ion in a LiCl-KCl molten salt on solid and liquid electrode

► We examined the electrodeposition of U3+ on a solid and liquid electrode. ► Here, the impedance response of U3+ on liquid Cd electrode was firstly reported. ► The diffusion in Cd (ℓ) as well as in salt was discussed in the impedance spectrum. ► The impedance magnitude decreased due to surface relaxation induced by U deposits.
