Solving diffusion problems on an unstructured, amorphous grid by a meshless method

► The DAM was implemented on a completely irregular domain and boundary grid. ► Resulting numerical noise was corrected by a smoothing method. ► A new stable formulation for natural boundaries was found. ► The method was examined on two diffusion problems. ► Spatial convergence behaviour was found to be of 2nd order.
