Synthesis of zincblende CuInS2 and Fe-substituted CuInS2 by the reaction of binary colloids

- Binary colloids of Cu-S and In-S in ethyleneglycol reacted to yield CuInS2.
- CuInS2 exhibited zincblende arrangement.
- Following this success, higher concentrations of iron substituted for indium.
- This soft chemical process is simple, robust and rapid.
