Production of lipopeptides by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens XZ-173 in solid state fermentation using soybean flour and rice straw as the substrate

► We optimized the medium composition for lipopeptides production in SSF. ► We evaluated the properties of lipopeptides purified from fermented substrates. ► Under optimum conditions, the experimental yield of lipopeptides reached 50.01 mg/gds. ► The first report on use of rice straw for production of lipopeptides in SSF.
