A comparison between subset selection and L1 regularisation with an application in spectroscopy

► We applied L1 regularisation to spectral unmixing problem with reference library. ► We observed that full subset selection has better performance in this comparison. ► L1/nonnegative screening is promising because it removes unnecessary variables.
