Determination of Benzotriazole and Its Derivatives in Aqueous Sample with Air-assisted Liquid-Liquid Microextraction Followed by High-performance Liquid Chromatography

A simple, reliable method based on air-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction (AALLME) coupled with HPLC-UV for determination of benzotriazoles in aqueous sample was developed. A narrow-neck tube with round bottom was self-made to facilitate the collection of the low-density extract phase and the centrifugation at high speed. The pretreatment could be completed within 2 min.
