Inhibitive activities detection of monoamine oxidases (MAO) A and B inhibitors in human liver MAO incubations by UPLC-ESI-MS/MS

- UPLC-ESI-MS/MS method was developed for screening of inhibitors of MAO.
- 5-HT and 2-PEA were used as markers to evaluate MAO inhibitive activities of drugs.
- The assay is run within 3.5 min with acceptable sensitivity and reproducibility.
- The obtained IC50 and Ki values were as the same as the values in previous study.
