Simultaneous determination of five naphthoylindole-based synthetic cannabinoids and metabolites and their deposition in human and rat hair

- JWH-type synthetic cannabinoids with overlapped metabolism were analyzed in hair.
- AM-2201 and its four monohydroxylated metabolites were incorporated into hair.
- Hair pigmentation did not affect on the distribution of AM-2201 and metabolites.
- The developed hair method provided the useful information on ingested parent drugs.
