High-performance liquid chromatographic method for determination of clinofibrate and its application to a pharmacokinetic study in healthy volunteers

► No related method has been reported for determination of clinofibrate in plasma. ► A convenient, rapid and sample HPLC method was developed. ► The sample was prepared by protein precipitation which is convenient. ► First time studying the pharmacokinetic characteristics of clinofibrate in human. ► Our study will furnish basis for clinical application.
