Preventing UV induced cell damage by scavenging reactive oxygen species with enzyme-mimic Au-Pt nanocomposites

Enzyme-mimic Au-Pt nanocomposites with high activity in scavenging reactive oxygen species, that could be readily uptaken by cells and exhibited excellent biocompatibility, have been shown to prevent UV induced oxidative damage in human skin cells.
