Highly sensitive multiplexed DNA detection using multi-walled carbon nanotube-based multicolor nanobeacon

► A novel multi-walled carbon nanotube-based multicolor nanobeacon was proposed. ► The design was based on FRET between dye-labeled DNA hairpins and carbon nanotube. ► This design provides a new method for the preparation of multicolor nanobeacon. ► The nanobeacon exhibited high sensitivity for multiplexed analysis of DNAs.
