Titania-based molecularly imprinted polymer for sulfonic acid dyes prepared by sol-gel method

► A novel titania-based molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was synthesized by sol-gel method without adding functional monomer. ► The adsorption capacity of MIP is larger than that of non-imprinted polymer. ► Sulfonic acid dyes can be extracted selectively by MIP from beverage samples.
