Synthesis and characterization of water-insoluble statistical copolymer and its application in the development of electrochemical DNA sensor

► Water-insoluble copolymer with hydrophobic, hydrophilic/cationic residues was prepared. ► P(MMA-co-DMA) modified graphite electrode (q-PGE) was used for voltammetric DNA detection. ► Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used for characterization of surface modification of q-PGE.
