Determination of alcohol sulfates in wastewater treatment plant influents and effluents by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

► We propose a method to identify and quantify alcohol sulfates in wastewaters. ► Single-step hydrolysis/derivatization process prior to GC-MS analysis. ► SPE allows for very low detection and quantification limits. ► Validation of the method: quality parameters, accuracy (trueness and precision).
