Optical nanobiosensor: A new analytical tool for monitoring carboplatin-DNA interaction in vitro

► Proposed studies reveal the interaction of DNA with drug. ► Developed gold nanoparticle based optical Nanobiosensor for determination of drug-DNA interaction. ► When AuNPs labeled with DNA and exposed to drug solution, fluorescence enhancement observed. ► This is due to conformational change of DNA on binding of drug via FRET. ► This nanobiosensor can be widely useful in drug discovery and new drug development for DNA damage studies.
