Immunochromatographic assay of cadmium levels in oysters

► Oysters are one of foodstuffs containing a relatively high amount of Cd. ► An ICA method of Cd levels in oysters was established. ► A Cd-spiked test showed favorable recovery from oysters by ICA method. ► Measured Cd levels in oysters in ICA method were correlated with those in ICP-MS. ► Established ICA method is adequate and reliable for measuring Cd levels in oysters.
