Efficient composite bipolar plate reinforced with carbon fiber and graphene for proton exchange membrane fuel cell

► Monolayer graphene was synthesized and characterized. ► Composite bipolar plate was developed using compression molding technique. ► Bipolar plate was characterized for corrosion, electrical and mechanical properties. ► Stringent benchmarks given by US-DOE and Plug Power Inc. were considered and achieved. ► PEMFC performance improved by around 10% using graphene reinforced composite bipolar plate.
