Nickel ferrite-graphene heteroarchitectures: Toward high-performance anode materials for lithium-ion batteries

► NiFe2O4-graphene heteroarchitectures with differing graphene content were prepared. ► Graphene sheets in composites are exfoliated and decorated by NiFe2O4 nanoparticles. ► NiFe2O4-G(0.2) showed a high electrochemical performance for lithium-ion batteries.
