Dinuclear vanadium, copper, manganese and titanium complexes containing O,O,N-dichelating ligands: Synthesis, crystal structure and catalytic activity

Eight bis-tridentate terephthalo- and oxalohydrazide complexes of V(V), Cu(II), Mn(II) and Ti(IV) were prepared and characterized. The compound V-terph was a one-dimensional coordination polymer. The complexes catalyzed oxidation of hydrocarbons using H2O2 with good to excellent conversions and high selectivity.
