Vanadyl complexes discriminate between neuroblastoma cells and primary neurons by inducing cell-specific apoptotic pathways

Bis(acetylacetonato) oxovanadium(IV) ([VO(acac)2]) discriminated between neuroblastoma cells and primary neurons by inducing cell-specific apoptosis via stimulation of cyclinD1 and cell cycle arrest in neuroblastoma cells and elevation of ROS level in primary neurons respectively.146
