Neomycin B-cyclen conjugates and their Zn(II) complexes as RNA-binding agents

Three new derivatives of the aminoglycoside antibiotic neomycin B, incorporating the 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane macrocycle, are reported together with an examination of the ability of these compounds and their zinc(II) complexes to bind to the prokaryotic ribosomal A-site RNA via FRET-based measurements.155
