Searching for “LiCrIIPO4”

Investigations on the equilibrium relations in the system Li/Cr/P/O revealed the two hitherto unknown phosphates Li5CrII2CrIII(PO4)4 and LiCrII4(PO4)3. They form instead of “LiCrIIPO4”. The crystal structures, magnetic behavior and optical spectra of these phosphates are reported.
