One pot synthesis of polypyrrole silver nanocomposite on cotton fabrics for multifunctional property

► Polypyrrole-silver nanocomposites were prepared on cotton fabrics by one pot synthesis. ► Silver incorporation onto the matrix of polymer was confirmed using XRD and XPS. ► Polymer nanocomposites showed higher conductivity. ► We observed excellent antimicrobial rate with the coated cotton fabrics.
