Crosslinked cellulose developed by CuAAC, a route to new materials

► We used CuAAC reaction to crosslinked cellulose as model for future works on paper pulp. ► We obtained azidodeoxycellulose from tosylcellulose. ► After some trials, propargylcellulose is prepared from cellulose in aqueous medium. ► Crosslinked product is obtained by coupling azidodeoxycellulose and propargylcellulose.
