Synthesis, characterization, electrical conductivity and luminescence properties of two copper(II) complexes with tridentate N2O chelating ligands containing imine bond

Two novel tridentate N2O donor ligands, HL1 and HL2, and their copper(II) complexes, [Cu(L1)(CH3COO)] (1), [Cu(L2)(CH3COO)] (2) have been synthesized and fully characterized. Luminescence properties of the compounds were investigated both in solution and solid state. The electrical conductivities of the 1-2 have been also investigated.230
