Experimental and theoretical study of crystal and molecular structure of 1,2-di(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazine

1,2-Di(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazine has been synthesized and characterized using ESI-MS, FTIR, NMR, UV-Vis and X-ray diffraction. DFT calculations were used to assign the NMR chemical shifts, to analyze the molecular orbitals and molecular electrostatic potential.191
