Titanium carbonitride (C1âXNXTi) possesses excellent physical and chemical properties. However, the studies on processing conditions and the conductivity of the continuous three-dimensional curly C1âXNXTi-C nanofibers mat are missing. In this work, the continuous three-dimensional curly C1âXNXTi-C nanofibers mat was successfully fabricated by the carbothermal reduction of composite nanofibers by airspinning. This was the economical and efficient method for industrialization. The carbonization was treated at the different low-temperatures, which produced the carbon structure with different crystalline. And the crystallinity of carbon had the effect on the formation of Itanium carbonitride. Single and few-layer graphene grown in the transformation of amorphous carbon, and C0.7N0.3Ti exhibited the enhanced electrical conductivity and the lower charge transfer resistance. This was attributed to the effect of nitrogen addition, which played a substantial part in increase of the electrochemical performance. This continuous three-dimensional curly C1âXNXTi-C nanofibers mat with excellent electrical properties is promising to apply in titanium matrix composites and electronic devices.
