Innovative polymeric system (IPS) facilitates the phase transition of the micron sized crystal lipophilic drug into a transdermally diffusible nano-sized amorphous form and fabrication of the backbone of DMNs for transdermal delivery. Due to the biodegradable properties of both IPS components, namely Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone (PVP), the colloids can easily diffuse across the dermal layers allowing for efficacious powder based transdermal lipophilic drug delivery.89
