Towards easily tunable hydrogen storage via a hydrogen-induced glass-to-glass transition in Mg-based metallic glasses
چکیده انگلیسی
The hydrogen-induced glass-to-glass transition in Mg-based metallic glasses (MGs) stores hydrogen as high as 5 wt%. Remarkably, dehydrogenation temperature of the metallic glassy hydrides (MGHs) can be efficiently tuned as it shows a close relation with the enthalpy of mixing between the alloying elements and hydrogen. The onset dehydrogenation temperature of the MGHs significantly reduces from 350 °C to 150 °C when alloying with 5 at.%-Cu.396
