چکیده انگلیسی
The heat capacity of a single crystal of lithium molybdate Li2MoO4 in the range 6-310 K was measured by the adiabatic method. No anomalous behavior of the heat capacity was found. Based on the obtained data, thermodynamic functions (entropy, enthalpy, and reduced Gibbs energy) under standard conditions were calculated. An equation for extrapolation of low-temperature heat capacity to 0 K was proposed, which has a wider temperature range of applicability as compared to the scope of validity of the Debye law (C â¼Â T3). Analysis of heat capacity behavior points to the presence of a low-frequency peak in the density of phonon states for Li2MoO4.
