Synthesis and characterization of copper ferrite nanoparticles doped polyaniline

► Copper ferrite nanoparticles doped PANI was prepared by in situ polymerization. ► Materials were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM and TGA. ► PANI/CuFe2O4 showed good electrical conductivity as well as thermal stability. ► PANI/CuFe2O4 also posses excellent adsorption properties at acidic pH. ► It can be exploited for removal of toxic dye stuff from colored industrial effluents.
