Recent gamma background measurements at high mountain altitude

► We measure radiation gamma background at high mountain altitude. ► The obtained results are compared with previously obtained measurements with measurements carried out with TLD detectors. ► We simulate cosmic ray induced cascade in the atmosphere. ► The contribution of galactic cosmic ray to dose rate at various altitudes is estimated.
